Yrehn, an Osamodas guardian, lives a peaceful life with the legendary Elante. With them, the great eagle Eryx and the boarataur Boarus stand ready to fight should their lives be threatened. But their peaceful existence comes to an end when Karn, the great hunter-eater, lands on their island refuge.
